Matheus Cunha is about to return from injury for Manchester United’s Premier League match against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Brazil international missed United’s 2-1 win at home to Brentford on Monday evening attributable to a hip injury.
Nonetheless, United have confirmed that Cunha took part in full training together with his teammates ahead of Liverpool’s visit to Old Trafford this weekend.
Cunha has been one in all United’s standout performers this season with eight goals and two assists within the Premier League.

Speaking about Cunha’s injury on Monday, Michael Carrick said: ‘He had a little bit of a sore hip flexor after the sport against Chelsea.
‘He was looking quite promising throughout the week. We thought he’d be okay but he didn’t quite progress quick enough. It’s nothing too serious but unfortunately he misses out tonight.’
United currently sit third within the Premier League and three points clear of fourth-placed Liverpool.
