Munawar Faruqui and his wife, Mehzabeen Faruqui, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. The couple, who married in May 2024, shared the joyful news on social media on Friday, posting pictures of the mother and baby—though their faces remain unseen.

In his post, Munawar wrote, “Ghar barkat aayi. Blessed. Alhmdulillah. Dua mai khas yaad rakhe,” expressing his happiness and gratitude. Several celebrities from the entertainment industry, including Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Aly Goni, congratulated the couple within the comments.
About The Couple
Munawar and make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala had a personal wedding in May 2024. The ceremony was kept completely under wraps, with no social media posts or official announcements on the time. The wedding only got here to light after a fan leaked details online, and actor Hina Khan was seen attending the event. Munawar largely stayed private in regards to the wedding, which reportedly included a secret ceremony followed by a reception at ITC Maratha in Mumbai.
Munawar was previously married and has a son along with his former wife, with whom he continues to co-parent. Reports also suggest that Mehzabeen has a 10-year-old daughter. Along with his latest post, the couple has now shared the blissful news of their first child.
