Tom Aspinall will discover who he’ll face in his UFC comeback fight on June 14.

The heavyweight champion is currently sidelined on account of a problem together with his eyes that stems from being fouled by Ciryl Gane during their UFC 321 no-contest in October.

On Sunday, Tom Aspinall provided a ‘very pleased’ return update after undergoing an eye fixed exam.

Tom Aspinall promised UFC White House winner

Tom Aspinall expects to be cleared to resume full-contact sparring in the approaching weeks.

The 31-year-old believes his comeback opponent can be decided on the White House on June 14.

Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane will scrap for the interim heavyweight title throughout the unique UFC card.

Aspinall says his bosses have already told him he’ll face the winner of the UFC White House co-main event.

Exactly when that fight happens is determined by the Englishman’s doctors and the way quickly the Pereira vs. Gane winner recovers.

“Alex and Ciryl need to fight for the interim title. I’m obviously going to fight the winner,” Aspinall said.

“The UFC has told me I’m fighting the winner. I actually have to attend for that to be done, and we fight the winner.

“No specific [date]. I’m waiting to get clearance, which goes to be coming soon, they’ve just told me.

“Any specific months depend upon the UFC. Those other two have gotten to fight one another.

“Allow them to do their thing, get well from that, and when everybody is prepared, we’ll do it.”

What about Jon Jones?

Former two-weight UFC champion Jon Jones appears to have been frozen out of the title picture.

The MMA great rejected a $15 million offer to fight Alex Pereira on the UFC White House card.

That and Jones’ ongoing battle with arthritis have led Dana White to imagine that he’s retired.

‘Bones’ has suggested he’s able to battle through the pain and fight again, for the suitable price.

Jones appears to be in a standoff with the UFC, who’re clearly preparing for all times without him.

Only time will tell if MMA’s best legend will make one final Octagon appearance before calling time on his legendary profession.
