Byron Saxton Knows What He’d Be Doing If He’d Never Made It To WWE

Byron Saxton has spent years as a part of WWE, and believes that he can be appearing on screens even when he weren’t with the promotion.

Talking to “Mr Cooper TV”, Saxton, who joined WWE in 2007, was asked about what his working life would have looked like without WWE. He said,

“Well, my previous profession to WWE was that of a television news reporter. I did news sports and traffic. Really? I stood in front of a green screen. I’ve talked about 6 a.m. traffic jams. Channel 4 News, actually Channel 4 is where I used to work. But yeah, so if I never got here to WWE, which was my dream, there’s a really strong possibility that I’d still be working in TV news in some capability.”

As a substitute, Saxton stays busy with WWE, where he works as an interviewer and has other responsibilities, including as an announcer.

Within the interview, Saxton was asked about what he enjoys during his free time away from the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. He said,

“I really like specializing in my health. If I can try a movie. An enormous thing, I’m an enormous museum guy. So anybody who follows my social media knows each time I come to a distinct town for WWE television or live events, I got to seek out a spot to go to. I got to seek out a museum because I really like just learning. I really like expanding my mental repertoire and experiencing recent things.”

Saxton originally appeared for WWE as an in-ring talent and was a part of season two of the unique WWE NXT format, won by Kaval (Low Ki).
