Dana White makes AI admission for White House event after WWE revelation

Just days after TKO’s revealed that Triple H and Nick Khan used AI for creative purposes, UFC President Dana White also got here out and revealed the entire usage of AI for one in all their promotions for UFC’s Freedom 250 card.

Speaking on the Katie Miller podcast, White justified using AI. “So, the White House promo that we just did is AI. The entire promo is AI, even my voice. It’s not my real voice. My guys put together the entire promo for the White House without one guy going into the sound booth, filming or anything. The one thing that’s real within the spot is the fight footage,” White said.

When asked if AI goes to the longer term, he responded, “It already is. It is not the longer term, it’s now. It’s already happening.” Nonetheless, while White seemed happy with UFC’s usage of AI within the promo, fans were seen on a special page.

“F**k off with Ai, this s**t is robbing people of their careers,” wrote one user. While one other one commented, “And it looks like complete trash… bazillion dollar company and you may’t simply film real shots or hire real artists that will make people 1000 times more hype.” Another fan wrote, “Takes away from the love and energy that goes into making the promos.”

WWE NXT’s recent AI promotion of Zaria and Sol Ruca’s feud also received an analogous response on the web, where fans pounced upon the promotion for using AI as a substitute of real footage. Interestingly, something similar had also happened when WWE had used AI footage of El Grande Americano during an AAA promotional video.
