Summer House’s KJ Dillard revealed that West Wilson texted him an apology in the future after filming the season 10 reunion, before reading the text on live TV.
During a Tuesday, May 5, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, KJ, 28, shared that he received the text on April 24 but had didn’t open it. “I didn’t even have a look at the message. I used to be a bit scared to take a look at it. I still haven’t checked out it. There’s just one unread message in my inbox and it’s his,” KJ told Cohen, 57.
When urged by each Cohen and the studio audience to read West’s text aloud, KJ agreed.
“West says, ‘I desired to thanks on your articulation and kindness yesterday despite being hurt. I’ve been off social and I feel I lost touch with how much hurt there was. I’m incredibly sorry,’” KJ said. “’Also sending you like with reference to your mental health. You shared quite a bit yesterday and I realize it mightn’t carry much weight now but I’m at all times rooting for the most effective for you. I do know it can take a while but at any time when you are feeling such as you’re ready, lunch or a phone call would mean quite a bit within the spirit of healing. No must respond, take your time.’”
After he’d recited the text, KJ immediately admitted that it “hurt” to review what West had sent him. “It just hurts since it’s, like, me and him were so close,” he explained.
KJ’s fellow guest during WWHL, Jamie Lynn Sigler, threw her support behind him. “Don’t let it hurt you, I feel you needed to take your time to read it, that’s totally respectable, and I feel that was really good what he wrote,” the Sopranos alum, 44, said.
West’s text to KJ, who’s a detailed friend of West’s ex Ciara Miller, is available in light of West, 31, and Amanda Batula going public with their romance. The surprise relationship, revealed via a joint Instagram post shared by West and Amanda, 34, on March 31, was one in all several topics explored in the course of the filming of the Summer House reunion, which airs on Tuesday, May 26.
KJ said last month that West didn’t reach out to him after his romance with Amanda was confirmed, despite West claiming that he had during an episode of his podcast “Show Me Something.” KJ stated via Threads once the podcast episode dropped, “I’m checking my text messages, but I never received anything.”
KJ went on to hint that there was more to West and Amanda’s relationship than meets the attention. “Let me sign off before I get accused of cyberbullying again,” KJ wrote in one other Threads post. “The reality hurts, homie, tough love.”
The truth TV star has voiced his issues regarding West and Amanda’s relationship across social media in recent weeks. After the couple displayed PDA at a Yankees game on April 17, KJ seemingly shaded the duo, labeling anyone “sickos” via Threads. “I just threw up in my mouth,” he added on the time.
