Manchester City striker Bunny Shaw and Manchester United captain Maya Le Tissier led the winners on the 2026 Women’s Football Awards.

Shaw has scored a remarkable 19 goals in 21 WSL games this season and played a pivotal role in helping City claim their first league title in 10 years.

The Jamaican international is now a two-time winner of the award, having won it back in 2024, while City were also awarded Club of the 12 months after their WSL triumph.

Le Tissier, meanwhile, has enjoyed one other standout campaign at the guts of United’s defence as she continues to grow to be a significant player for each club and country.

Returning for its fourth consecutive 12 months with Metro as its media partner, the awards night once more brought together leading players, pioneers, and organisations to rejoice the game’s continued growth and influence across the UK and beyond.

‘The Women’s Football Awards is an incredible event,’ host Gabby Logan said. ‘The stories we celebrated reflect a game that’s evolving at an incredible pace.

‘From world-class performances to the work happening behind the scenes, every winner represents progress, ambition, and belief in what women’s football can grow to be.’
