Jake Paul drops insane $200 million fight offer for boxing legend

Still recovering from his broken jaw suffered on the literal hands of Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul has now dropped an insane boxing match offer to Canelo Álvarez. Last 12 months in Dec. 2025, Paul faced off against heavyweight Joshua, where he suffered a humiliating defeat and a broken jaw.

Now indefinitely suspended from boxing and doubtful about his boxing future, Paul has sent a suggestion to Álvarez. During a live-stream amid Betr branding on Wednesday, May. 13, 2026, Paul was heard chatting with Álvarez within the footage. “That is me talking to Canelo,” Paul was heard saying.

Within the footage Paul references, he will be heard on a phone call, saying, “I look as much as you … you are an inspiration. Me and you will have quite a lot of similarities.” Someone was then heard asking how much money Álvarez asked, to which Paul responded, “$200 million.”

“Canelo — I even have the $200 million for you. Easy money. Jake Paul vs Canelo. Let’s get it done,” he said. “That is what the fans have been waiting for. It’s the largest fight that may possibly be made in boxing. Canelo said he’s down on the phone, so we’ll make it occur. I even have the $200 million. I believe that is going to be the subsequent fight. Sign the contract, Canelo. Let’s make the largest fight in boxing occur.”

Despite his high hopes and exciting offer for Álvarez, a dark cloud still surrounds Paul’s boxing future. Recently, on the Ariel Helwani Show, Paul shared an in depth answer on his boxing future.

“I’m getting some recent scans in a few days on the jaw to get an update on the healing process,” Paul said. “We’ll see what my doctors say and if I may even fight again. That is unquestionably throughout the realm of possibility. It does feel lots higher because the weeks and time go by. I believe it just depends upon how the bone heals. There’s also a tooth missing here, and I’m pretty sure I will need to get some kind of implant. We just need to wait and work out what the neatest thing is for me.”
