Sammy Guevara Challenges Darby Allin, The Kingdom Returns, More From ROH Supercard Of Honor

Sammy Guevara, Motion Andretti, and Nigel McGuinness all made big moves coming out of ROH Supercard of Honor 2026, with direct fallout for AEW Collision.

The Supercard of Honor Zero Hour opened with Sammy Guevara beating Motion Andretti in singles motion. Later within the night, during a backstage interview with Lexy Nair, Guevara shifted focus to AEW and called out Darby Allin for an AEW World Championship match on the May 16 AEW Collision in Salisbury, Maryland.

AEW has since listed Allin vs. Sammy for the title, alongside The Opps (Samoa Joe and Anthony Bowens) vs Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson, and a Women’s World Tag Team Title Eliminator bout.

On the essential Supercard show, A.R. Fox retained the ROH World Television Championship against Lio Rush after Andretti, Rush’s former CRU partner, appeared to support him, then shoved Rush off the highest rope behind the referee’s back, directly costing him the match.

Earlier on the pay-per-view, Nigel McGuinness opened the essential card by defeating Josh Woods in a Pure Rules match in his first bout since December 2025.

McGuinness had said before the show that a win over Woods should earn him yet one more shot at Lee Moriarty’s ROH Pure Championship, which he previously didn’t win at Final Battle 2024 and Final Battle 2025.

At ROH Supercard of Honor 2026, Red Velvet retained the ROH Women’s World Television Championship against Viva Van. Later within the show, during a backstage segment, Velvet cut a promo making it clear she now wants more gold. She officially called out Willow Nightingale for a TBS Championship match, and AEW has since confirmed Willow vs Red Velvet for the May 16 episode of AEW Collision in Salisbury, Maryland.

ROH Supercard of Honor 2026 also featured the surprise return of The Kingdom. During an interview segment with Alec Price and Jordan Oliver, who were talking about chasing the ROH World Tag Team Titles, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of The Kingdom interrupted. The duo stated that if Price and Oliver want Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos’ tag titles, they’ll need to undergo The Kingdom first.

This marked Taven’s and Bennett’s first AEW/ROH appearance since their contracts weren’t renewed and Bennett’s first on‑screen return since October 2025.
