Following the finale of Splitsvilla 16, Niharika Tiwari’s comments about Nia Sharma sparked a wide range of fan reactions. Nia selected to handle the situation not directly on social media. The MTV Splitsvilla season 16 grand finale, which aired on Saturday, was full of spicy revelations and heated exchanges, including moments between contestants and the hosts. During one such moment, contestant Niharika Tiwari told host and actor Nia Sharma that she “didn’t know her before Splitsvilla.” While Nia didn’t react strongly on the time, she now seems to have subtly responded through a social media post.

Nia was referred to as one in every of the ‘mischief makers’ on the show, together with Uorfi Javed. The duo added several twists and turns to the contestants’ journey throughout the season. In the course of the finale, Nia Sharma confronted Niharika Tiwari about allegedly calling her “biased” in podcasts after the show. Nia explained, “Biased hone ke liye kisiki existence ke baare mein pata hona chahiye (To be biased, I would like to learn about someone’s existence). This was my very first time on Splitsvilla. Did I do know anybody before this show? No. Did I do know you, Niharika? Under no circumstances, babe.”

In response, Niharika said, “Mujhe bhi aap nahi pata thi (I didn’t know you before this show either).”
Nia then emphasised that if someone questions the host of a show, they need to have proper proof and evidence. “Nobody is biased; we don’t have the authority to be biased. Now you might be famous, inside 3 months span. I even have been here 15 years. I even have seen the highs and lows,” she stated. This appeared to annoy Niharika, who replied, “Kya baat kar rahi hai ye faltu ki? 3 months mein fame mila hai kya mereko? (What’s she even talking about? Have I gotten fame in only 3 months?).”
While Nia didn’t directly reply to Niharika’s “mujhe bhi aap nahi pata thi” remark through the episode, she later shared a cryptic Instagram post that many fans believed was a subtle reply. On Monday, Nia posted several pictures and behind-the-scenes videos from the Splitsvilla set.
Together with the post, she wrote, “UN-KNOWN to be well paid for the job. #splitsvilla16 Curtains close on one other one in every of my fav journeys in my not so known 15 years. Lived the moments .. wouldn’t have traded it for the rest. @mtvsplitsvilla @mtvindia @jiohotstar! Thanks for taking me along for this one!”
