Television actress Khushi Dubey has steadily built a loyal fan following along with her performances across television and OTT. Over time, the actress has faced online trolling, including harsh comments about her body and appears. Nonetheless, Khushi believes criticism is solely an element of being a public figure. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about coping with trolls, online criticism, and why she refuses to let negativity affect her. Khushi Dubey Defends Public Figures Facing Online Hate
Talking about how she reacted to the trolling around considered one of her looks, Khushi Dubey admitted that she never took the criticism too seriously. Drawing a comparison with how even top Bollywood stars face scrutiny, she said, “Yaar mujhe actually kuch itna feel nahi hua kyunki mujhe yeh lag raha hai ki whenever you aren’t, you might be talked about, and achhi baat hai. Agar mere baare mein itni baat kar rahe hain toh. Abhi humne Alia Bhatt ma’am ko bhi dekha, woh Cannes mein gayi toh sabse pehle ek poori list aa gayi—yeh galat tha, yeh sahi nahi tha, yeh nahi tha. So I believe woh hota hai because if you end up a public figure, everybody likes to criticise also.”
Khushi further revealed that the actual look people were trolling was from the North Bombay Durga Puja celebrations. She said, “And I do recall which look you might be talking about, it was the North Bombay Durga Puja wala look. And I believe usmein logon ne tareef itni zyada ki thi ki mujhe woh chhote-mote joh the na woh dikhe bhi nahi. Matlab maine usko bahut zyada tawajju nahi di because jahan jahan 100 achhe comments hain, wahan agar 5 kuch agar kharab comments bhi hain, so it’s okay, .”
Khushi Dubey Reacts To Facing Trolls For Her Look
The actress also explained why she doesn’t imagine in reacting strongly to trolls. She said, “Making it feel much more authentic because everybody can have their very own opinions. Mai glad hoon with my fans and mere joh chaahne wale hain. And I believe their love is rather more above for me from these few trolls or anybody. So everybody has their opinion to say, predominant kisi ko chup nahi kara sakti hoon. And it’s good. It’s good because yeh log phir kahin aur ho sakta hai achhe way mein kisi ko kuch bole. But predominant isko bahut negative way mein nahi leti hoon.”
Despite the web noise, Khushi Dubey continues to give attention to expanding her profession with diverse projects across television, OTT, and movies. Following the success of Aashiqana, the actress went on to headline shows like Jubilee Talkies and Jaadu Teri Nazar – Daayan Ka Mausam. She is going to next be seen in projects like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and One Two Cha Cha Chaa, marking one other exciting phase in her growing journey as an actor.
