Rey Mysterio recently shocked the wrestling world after being appointed the brand new General Manager of AAA Lucha Libre. The unexpected move caught many fans off guard, as the choice appeared to return completely out of nowhere. Nonetheless, a brand new report could have revealed the actual reason behind the Hall of Famer’s recent role.
In line with a report from the Wrestling Observer, the 51-year-old legend is reportedly nearing the tip of his in-ring profession and is predicted to retire within the near future. The report further claimed that Mysterio’s final match could come against his son, Dominik Mysterio, in what can be an enormous father-versus-son showdown.
Rey and Dominik have shared one among WWE’s most heated family rivalries in recent times.
