AEW Injury Updates On Kyle Fletcher & QT Marshall

AEW has two injury situations coming out of recent shows, as Kyle Fletcher continues to be not medically cleared to wrestle and QT Marshall is being evaluated after getting injured at Double Or Nothing 2026.

Fletcher revealed in a recent vlog that his March twenty eighth AEW Collision injury resulted in a torn meniscus, a fractured tibia, and a fractured ankle. While his physical therapist has cleared him for normal activity, AEW doctors haven’t yet cleared him to return to in-ring motion.

Fletcher added that surgery was first considered but later ruled out, and that he’s back working for AEW in a general role as he waits on final medical clearance, with no firm timetable for his full in-ring return.

Fletcher’s surprise appearance at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, where he attacked Konosuke Takeshita and hit a brainbuster, was his first time back on AEW television because the injury.

There may be also concern around QT Marshall after a mishap throughout the Double or Nothing 2026 Buy In tag team match, where he teamed up with Big Boom! AJ and The Conglomeration to face off against Shane Taylor Promotions.

Through the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Marshall gave the impression to be injured when water was thrown on the ropes, which caused him to slide, fall to the ground, and grab his knee before being helped to the back as he couldn’t put weight on it.

Tony Khan later said that Marshall was doing okay, nevertheless, he didn’t give any additional details.

As of now, there is no such thing as a further update on the character or severity of Marshall’s knee issue.
