WWE hosted its latest episode of SmackDown from the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain, but unlucky footage has emerged from the event.
On social media, a video showed how much of the sector’s seating was tarped, demonstrating that WWE didn’t come near selling out.
Tarping seats makes them less visible on WWE programming, and, due to WWE’s camera shots, are sometimes never seen on TV.
This video comes after WWE didn’t sell out WrestleMania 42, which saw over 15,000 fewer fans in attendance in comparison with the previous 12 months in Las Vegas, NV.
Many have chalked up these ticket-sale struggles to increasing ticket prices in addition to storyline decisions fans feel aren’t price seeing live.
