For reality star Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar, success feels more special when it brings happiness to his mother. The Roadies XX: Double Cross and Splitsvilla X6 winner recently got emotional while speaking about introducing his mother to a totally latest world through reality television. From flying for the primary time to getting into Mumbai and becoming a part of a reality show herself, Gullu revealed how watching his mother experience these moments became more meaningful to him than his own victories.
In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the truth star opened up in regards to the emotional memories he shares along with his mother and likewise revealed the one thing she initially disliked about his sudden fame. Scroll on to know what the actor needed to share.
Gullu Recalls Flying His Mother To Mumbai
Recalling the moment he took his mother on a flight to Mumbai for the show, Gullu revealed that he spent all the journey simply observing her happiness and excitement. “Matlab woh aisa tha ki primary us time pe sirf mummy ko dekh raha hoon poori flight mein na ki woh jaise dekh rahi hai jis nazariye se. Hota hai na aankhon mein chamak hoti hai, ek khushi thi unki aankhon mein itni zyada ki bhai kya matlab kya hi achieve ho gaya aaj. Matlab bahut logon ke liye aam baat hai. But mummy ke liye bahut hi badi cheez thi ki yaar primary bhi flight mein baith ke bahar jaaungi. Mumbai aaungi woh bhi seedha aur reality show mein aaungi.”
The truth star further shared that seeing his mother so genuinely pleased became considered one of the proudest moments of his life. “Foremost unhe dekhta rehta hoon aur khush hota rehta hoon. Unki video banata rehta hoon ki ye khushi matlab maine na isse pehle mummy ko kabhi itna khush dekha. Aage toh aur koshish karunga zyada khush dekhun. Lekin yeh best moment tha ki aaj pehli baar mujhe aisa proud feel ho raha hai ki haan maa ko aaj proud feel karaya maine.”
Gullu Reveals WHY His Mother Thought He Became ‘Galat Famous’ After Winning Roadies
Through the conversation, Gullu also revealed the one thing his mother initially disliked after he became famous following his Roadies victory. He admitted that his late-night partying habits had began worrying her. “Waise mummy ne bola tha jab primary starting mein Roadies jeeta tha na. Phir maine ghar late aana shuru kar diya. Pehle tha ki yahan 10-11 baje aa gaya. Phir primary aata hoon 3 baje, 4 baje. Ye ghar hi nahi aa raha, parties kar raha hai. Toh mummy ko laga ki tu galat famous ho gaya. Ye toh tu galat istemaal kar raha hai.”
Nevertheless, the truth star added a humorous twist while speaking about how things have now modified at home due to social media and reels. “Ab mummy soti hai 3-4 baje reel-wheel dekh ke na poori. Ab primary kehta rehta hoon, mummy galat famous ho gayi aap na. Pehle theek thi, 8 baje so gayi.”
Gullu’s emotional and lighthearted anecdotes gave fans a glimpse into the close bond he shares along with his mother. While audiences know him for his competitive streak and back-to-back reality show victories, the truth star revealed that his proudest moments come from making his mother smile.
On the work front, Gullu will next be seen in Maa Hai Naa, where he’ll participate alongside his mother. The upcoming reality show has already generated excitement amongst fans desperate to see the mother-son duo together onscreen.
