Chahatt Khanna, a seasoned actress known for her presence on each the massive and small screen, has recently declined a suggestion to be a component of Colours upcoming show. It’s learnt that the actress-entrepreneur was offered a distinguished role in an upcoming untitled political drama on Colours. Nevertheless, despite being excited in regards to the opportunity, Chahatt needed to politely decline the offer attributable to the demanding shoot schedule.
Chahatt Khanna Reveals Rejecting Lead Antagonist Role
Speaking in regards to the project, Chahatt shared, “I used to be approached for a lead role in an upcoming political drama on Colours. It was a prime-time show and an exciting opportunity. Nevertheless, television requires a big commitment, and the makers wanted me to dedicate almost 25 days a month to the show.”
While the role intrigued her, Chahatt felt that she wouldn’t give you the chance to do justice to such an intensive commitment at this stage of her profession. She explained, “The role offered to me was that of the lead antagonist, and it was definitely an interesting character. I used to be genuinely keen on taking it up, but I knew I wouldn’t give you the chance to commit 25 days every month. I requested the team if the schedule might be adjusted to around 18 shooting days, but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. Eventually, I needed to turn down the offer.”
Chahatt Khanna Says She Stays Deeply Connected To TV
Despite passing on the project, Chahatt stays deeply connected to television, a medium that played a pivotal role in her profession. “Television will all the time be my roots, and I even have immense respect and love for the medium. I’d have been greater than pleased to be a component of the show if the schedules had aligned. For the time being, though, I’m exploring different formats of entertainment and am particularly excited by reality shows,” she said.
The actress also hinted at an exciting recent development on the skilled front. She added, “I’m currently in discussions for an upcoming reality show on Amazon Prime Video. It’s still at a really early stage, so let’s see how things unfold. I’m looking forward to exploring recent opportunities and formats as an artist.” Chahatt also multitasks between her acting profession and business ventures, actively in search of promising opportunities.
