Peddi Movie Review Quicker: Everyone Speaks Bhojpuri, But Ram Charan Enters To An English Rap

Peddi Movie Review Quicker: Will Ram Charan’s Film Get More Bizarre? (Photo Credit –Facebook)

Post Baahubali, a number of things modified for Pan-Indian Cinema, and all for the great! While SS Rajamouli’s RRR reached the Oscars for Naatu Naatu, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 became a box office riot! And with these pan-Indian movies emerged the pan-Indian stars – Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Allu Arjun, and others! So when Ram Charan promised an enormous entertainer with Peddi, the anticipation was at an all-time high!

The film starts with a dejected Boman Irani, the top of India’s sports selection committee, who’s slammed by the sports minister after India brings in just two medals. Nonetheless, he bumps right into a town that’s passionate about every sport as the children idolize Peddi Sir – a person who plays almost every sport – out of compulsion, not selection!

In the primary ten minutes, the film says Peddi almost 30 times! Nonetheless, before Ram Charan, the film introduces Divyenndu, who’s clearly living his Munna Bhaiya era here as well, probably the antagonist! I’m half-hour into the film, and I even have three distinct thoughts about how it’d unfold over the following 2 hours!

Terrible Dubbing

I’m watching the Hindi version of the film, and the dubbing is terrible! It’s Bhojpuri-flavored Hindi, however it sounds too forced in the whole setup. It just doesn’t slot in! Ram Charan starts speaking in an alien accent as soon as he enters the frame. I mean, it just isn’t even hilarious! It is simply embarrassing!

The Background Music Bizarre & Loud

The BGM is bizarre. While everyone seems to be talking in Bhojpuri and the background music is just too loud and noisy, it becomes bizarre when Ram Charan’s introduction frame is ready to a foot-tapping English rap! I mean, why? I didn’t get the logic of introducing a town boy to the background of some peppy English lyrics!

Rai Rai Raa Raa Looks Good!

Let me admit that Rai Rai Raa Raa does look good on screen, however it comes out of nowhere! The dubbing remains to be terrible, and the narration voice is nearly much like the supporting characters and extras! All of them have the identical voice, and I cannot unhear it!

The feminine lead, Janhvi Kapoor, has yet to enter the film frame, and I hope the film takes a greater turn once she arrives!
