Becky Lynch recently shared a backstage story involving Bryan Danielson during an appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast.
In keeping with Lynch, Danielson used to run informal surveys backstage during his time in WWE, including one focused on which male wrestlers received the largest reactions from female fans in attendance. She said,
“When Bryan Danielson was with us, he would at all times do these different surveys amongst people. He’d have various things like who gets one of the best lady pop on a show. The girl pop… when the blokes exit and so they take off their shirt… Jeff Hardy gets one hell of a girl pop. Possibly the highest lady pop.”
Danielson has been with AEW since 2021 and is currently away from lively in-ring competition, as a substitute appearing in a commentary role.
