Italian fashion house Zegna took over the Malibu Pier Friday night to stage a summer fashion show.
Guests were greeted by male models along the driveway wearing white and carrying matching umbrellas. Inside, a crop of chiseled waiters offered colourful cocktails.
The star-studded crowd included Rami Malek, Paul Dano, Mahershala Ali, Stellan Skarsgård, Roman Coppola, Gael García Bernal, Henri Zaga and Ludwig Göransson.
Shortly after arriving and posing for photographers, model and singer Soo Joo Park told me the event was not like most others. “It’s very nice as a lady to tap into menswear and the tailoring when it’s so impeccable,” she said. “And so comfortable. It normally takes me three hours to prepare but on a day like this, an hour max, including hair and makeup. It’s pretty good.”
