Late Filmmaker Bharathiraja Will Receive State Honours
In recognition of his extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Vijay announced that the State government would bestow state honours at Bharathiraja’s funeral. The Tamil Film Energetic Producers Association (TFAPA), co-founded by Bharathiraja in 2020, also appealed to the federal government for official recognition.
