In a follow-up to the widespread discussion surrounding CM Punk this week, WrestleVotes is reporting that multiple WWE sources expect Punk to return to television as early as July. In keeping with those sources, Punk can also be slated to play a serious role on the two-night SummerSlam 2026 pay-per-view event in August.
One source indicated that every one signs are pointing toward a return on or before the July 6 episode of RAW at Chicago’s Allstate Arena. While that specific date has not been officially confirmed, the assumption inside WWE is that Punk’s absence from television won’t last for much longer.
As for the net speculation regarding Punk and TKO, not one of the WWE sources contacted suggested that the situation has turn into a subject of concern throughout the locker room. There has reportedly been no internal discussion about any issues between Punk and TKO, and if concerns do exist, they’re being kept extremely quiet.
