Eric Bischoff Says Modern WWE Storyline Is The Biggest In Pro Wrestling History

WWE Hall of Famer and former WCW executive Eric Bischoff has largely stepped away from the industry, but still follows it closely enough to debate on his podcast, “83 Weeks.” On the most recent episode, he was willing at hand the baton off to a current WWE storyline.

“I feel The Bloodline storyline is totally the most effective storyline that is ever been produced – written and produced – on this industry. Nothing’s even close,” he boldly proclaimed. “Doesn’t suggest it’ll have the identical impact within the industry because the nWo did, for lots of other reasons that don’t have anything to do with the standard of the story.”

Bischoff then explained that the lasting impact of a storyline in pro wrestling will depend on the execution of said story. When The Bloodline, Bischoff believes there’s potential for WWE to proceed producing high-quality storylines with the group.

“Take a look at the forged of characters you may have to work with. Should you were casting a movie, and this was a wrestling movie, would you have a look at that forged and say, ‘Hmmm, I feel we will discover a author who can write a reasonably good story,’ with those characters? We are able to make a movie,” he said.

Currently, The Bloodline appears to be build up to a different civil war as Solo Sikoa eyes to recruit Royce Keys while Jacob Fatu has come to terms along with his newfound allegiance to Roman Reigns. Each teams will likely collide head on by SummerSlam, taking the angle to it’s next chapter.
