West Wilson will reportedly not be returning for Summer House season 11 while facing ongoing tension along with his castmates amid his romance with Amanda Batula.
“West isn’t coming back,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the fact star’s exit. “He could still make an appearance on Summer House or Within the City in the longer term, especially if things with Amanda progress, but he’s not a forged member this season.”
TMZ was the primary to report the news of Wilson’s exit on Monday, June 15, citing sources connected to the series. People, meanwhile, reported that an insider near production informed them of Wilson’s departure.
Us Weekly has reached out to West’s rep and Bravo for comment.
Wilson and Batula, 34, have been at the middle of controversy after confirming their relationship in March. The romance got here on the heels of Batula announcing her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January, while sources exclusively told Us in early April that West “was hitting” on costar Ciara Miller — who was also Batula’s BFF.
The group addressed their dynamic — and Wilson and Batula’s budding romance — throughout the season 10 Summer House reunion, which aired in three parts earlier this month. Bravo went on to surprise fans with a bonus episode titled “The Aftermath,” which is ready to air on Tuesday, June 16, and have conversations with the important thing players.
Ahead of “The Aftermath” airing, Wilson ruffled feathers when he admitted that he hoped the Latest York Knicks would lose Game 5 of the NBA Finals in order that the sixth matchup would drop throughout the bonus episode — and would thus have less fans watching. The comments sparked backlash from costar Lindsay Hubbard, who fired back at Wilson’s comments in a Threads post on Sunday, June 14.
“West Wilson: you’re trash. Attempting to get people to not watch our show that I brought you on, it’s best to move immediately,” she wrote before adding in a separate upload, “Brother, you receives a commission for that episode. Just be thankful you continue to have a paycheck from our show.”
