Venezuelans woke as much as two back-to-back earthquakes last night as Donald Trump vowed to ‘help’.
Hundreds were feared dead, and buildings collapsed after two powerful earthquakes hit one after one other.
Venezuela is liable to earthquakes since it lies between two tectonic plates,however the 7.2 magnitude quake took many by surprise.
Last night’s earthquakes caused widespread constructing collapse as people begged for help. The quake was centred over the town of San Felipe, however the capital, Caracas, was also affected.
‘The 2 major earthquakes that just hit the good people of Venezuela are each massive in scale and have left a devastating variety of deaths,’ Donald Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
