Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently joined the Latest Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Japan through A 70 12 months Opus: Celebrating Philippines-Japan Friendship in Concert, held at The Theatre at Solaire.
As a part of its support for the event, TMP partnered with the Latest Japan Philharmonic in bringing the orchestra’s debut performance to Filipino audiences, reflecting its commitment to fostering meaningful connections and strengthening the longstanding relationship between the Philippines and Japan. Under the baton of acclaimed conductor Honna Tetsuji and featuring internationally renowned violinist Mayuko Kamio, the orchestra performed timeless masterpieces by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Ludwig van Beethoven. Additionally they played the theme song of the enduring Japanese animated series, Voltes V.
