India Hand Debut Caps To Two Players For Second T20I Against Ireland

India have given debut caps to kids Prince Yadav and Suryansh Shedge for the second T20I against Ireland on Sunday, June 28. India must win this match to level the two-match T20I series after suffering a surprising defeat in the primary game.

Prince, who made his ODI debut against Afghanistan earlier this month, earned his place after consistent performances within the Indian Premier League. He replaces Prasidh Krishna within the playing XI. Meanwhile, Shedge is available in for Washington Sundar. The Punjab Kings batter is understood for his aggressive batting and skill to hit big shots.

Prince received his debut cap from all-rounder Shivam Dube, while wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson presented Shedge together with his cap within the presence of teammates and support staff. Here is the post:

Shreyas Iyer praised young Suryansh Shedge throughout the toss before the second T20I against Ireland. Having closely observed him at Punjab Kings within the IPL, Iyer said the right-handed batter has gained useful domestic experience and has earned his India cap.
