The brand new lightweight champion can have overtaken other names which have previously received the title of being Trump’s favorite fighter following this win.

While he’s planning to take the remainder of 2026 off, Gaethje has said he’s planning to fight again despite some questioning whether he should retire following such an enormous win.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Trump be in attendance for the American’s next fight after the best way he represented his country on an enormous stage last month.
