Latest York Giants
Rico Payton was waived by the Giants yesterday but apparently passed through and has now landed on injured reserve, meaning he won’t have the ability to suit up for Latest York in the course of the 2026 campaign. The previous UDFA got into 16 games for the Saints in 2024 before joining the Giants last August. He ended up making nine appearances for his recent squad in 2025, ending with 12 tackles while spending the vast majority of his playing time on special teams.
