When asked what her opinion is on the divorce of Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola being discussed on National TV/ reality show, Ssunita Ahuja said, “Dekhiye, woh unki personal life hai. Most important uske baare mein kuch nahi bolungi because I’m not so near them, Gaurav aur Chamola se. Yes, but I believe Chamola is an excellent girl, and it’s her personal life. Woh jo bhi kare, foremost kabhi kisi ki personal life mein nahi bolti. But I like her lots.”

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola are heading for a divorce after nearly a decade of marriage. Akanksha revealed on Lock Upp Season 2 that they’ve been living individually for a yr. The split is essentially driven by differing life goals, primarily Gaurav’s strong desire to have children and Akanksha’s decision to stay child-free. Despite ending their marriage, each actors maintain a deeply respectful relationship. Gaurav publicly stated that he’ll at all times support his wife, while Akanksha said there isn’t a bad blood and that they continue to be involved.
