Maxxine Dupri found herself at the middle of one other on-screen romance storyline during this week’s edition of WWE RAW, and it prompted a response from her real-life husband.
After aligning with Austin Theory last week, Dupri accompanied The Vision to the ring because the group celebrated Theory and Bron Breakker’s World Tag Team Championship victory over The Street Profits. Logan Paul welcomed Theory into the faction before the celebration was interrupted by Otis and Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy.
The previous teammates confronted Dupri, hoping to know why she had turned her back on them. Throughout the exchange, Otis admitted that he still had feelings for her. Austin Theory immediately mocked Otis, making fun of his appearance and physique, which sparked a fight between Otis and members of The Vision.
Otis initially got the upper hand within the brawl before Dupri stepped in to calm him down. She appeared to lean in for a kiss, however it turned out to be a distraction. As Otis lowered his guard, Theory struck him with a low blow. Dupri then revealed her true intentions, telling Otis he was silly to consider someone like her would ever need to be with him.
The storyline continued backstage, with Theory and Dupri remaining closely aligned throughout the show.
Following RAW, Dupri’s real-life husband, NXT Superstar Kam Hendrix, reacted to the romance angle on social media with a transient message. He wrote,
“Go to hell.”
Dupri and Hendrix were married on December 31, 2025, after being together for greater than seven years. The couple recently celebrated six months of marriage, making the timing of Dupri’s latest on-screen romance angle an interesting talking point amongst fans.
