Joe Rogan claims boxing promoters were astonished with UFC 329 spectacle
Last Saturday, Rogan commentated at UFC 329 which was headlined by the return of McGregor, meaning it was thoroughly attended.
The 58-year-old claimed that he had friends who’re boxing promoters attend the event, and so they were astonished by how different it’s to a boxing show.
“I had some friends this past weekend that manage fighters, manage boxers, come to the UFC,” Rogan said on a recent episode of his podcast.
“They were all like, ‘Oh my god, that is so significantly better than a boxing promotion’, because all of the fights are exciting, with boxing, most individuals are just there for the fundamental event.
“Numerous people don’t even stroll in until quarter-hour until the fundamental event, like all of the famous those who sit front row. Within the UFC, that place is packed, 5, 6, 7 fights in. And there are 14 fights within the night and all of them are amazing… It’s only a more exciting sport.
“There are more ways to win, it’s more dynamic, more things occur and there are more stars. There are such a lot of stars within the UFC,” he claimed.

Despite Rogan’s claim regarding the UFC having ‘so many stars’, their lack of stars has been something they’ve been criticized for recently.
Not only that, but the massive gap in fighter pay between boxing and MMA continues to signal that boxing is worldwide the more popular sport.
