Dana White was in the midst of Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn as their first face-off turned aggressive in Recent York City.

Star-studded Fanatics Fest on the Javits Center welcomed a number of celebrities to the Empire State for World Cup Final weekend. And White made sure to bring his A-Game, with the official launch for Garcia and Benn’s September super-fight alongside other Zuffa Boxing and UFC fighters.

Oscar De La Hoya, whose Golden Boy Promotions have taken care of Garcia’s entire profession, was noticeably absent. Posters also branded the fight as being for the welterweight world title, without mentioning the American’s WBC belt which he did bring with him on stage.

It didn’t take long for tensions to boil over between long-time rivals Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn as they finally made their fight official with a press conference in Recent York today. They were supposedly kept apart once they appeared on stage at UFC 329 ceremonial weigh-ins, and got here together again today.

Dana White found himself in the midst of the pair as they attempted to push and shove throughout the Q&A, which also featured Edgar Berlanga and Richardson Hitchins. He even jokingly declared that he’s ‘too old for this s—‘ before they managed to get sitting down.

Garcia and Benn ended up going back-and-forth in Spanish and were kept separate by security, before engaging in two face-offs. They first had an exchange with White between them, before going back out to face-off with Rick Reeno of The Ring Magazine.
