Lataa Saberwal REACTS To Industry Fame And Success’ Pressure

When asked in regards to the pressure of being within the entertainment industry and rising actors’ suicides, Lata Saberwal said, “It depends upon how you are taking it. I at all times say, hamesha apne andar jhaank ke dekho—hum kahan galat ho rahe hain? Hamesha industry ko mat bolo. Fame mila hai, achhi baat hai. Agar nahi mil raha hai, toh industry kya karegi? Kahan se fame laake aapko de degi? It depends upon you—what sort of work you’re getting, what selections you’re making. Agar aapko woh nahi mil raha jo aap chahte ho, toh it’s your decision whether you wish to step out or pull the plug.”

She continued, “Agar wahan rehna hi aapki mental health ko affect kar raha hai, toh it’s higher not to remain there than to maintain suffering. Har cheez ke liye pehle apne andar jhaankna padega. Yeh samajhna hoga ki humare andar yeh disturbance create hona kahan se shuru hua. Kya mujhe kam fame mil raha hai? Kya essential comparison mein ja rahi hoon? Ya mujhe kam paise mil rahe hain? Jo bhi cheez aapko affect kar rahi hai, pehle usse treat karo. Aur phir bhi essential yahi kahungi—the industry shouldn’t be bad. Aur kaunsi industry bahut achhi hoti hai? Bas yahi baat hai. Kyunki yeh industry exposed hai, sab kuch khula hua hai, isliye yeh zyada badnaam hai.”
