Josh Hokit takes credit for Ryan Clark’s ESPN firing with ‘curse’ after Dana White podcast query

‘The Incredible Hok’ shouldn’t be the largest fan of now ex-ESPN analyst Ryan Clark.

Josh Hokit has been causing loads of controversy together with his comments since rising to prominence within the UFC heavyweight division.

That was actually the case after his trip to Washington, DC, for the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House lawn, where Hokit knocked out Derrick Lewis to increase his Octagon record to 4-0.

Amongst those critical of the 28-year-old’s shtick has been Clark, and the heavyweight contender thinks the previous NFL star has now paid the value.

Josh Hokit believes Ryan Clark ‘cursed’ himself by criticizing his UFC Freedom 250 conduct

Hokit’s comment about former First Lady Michelle Obama during his Octagon interview with Joe Rogan on June 14 was slammed across mainstream media.

The subject stays on the surface, with Clark using terms like “moronic” and “idiotic” while asking UFC President Dana White in regards to the remark during a recent episode of The Pivot Podcast.

Clark has been within the headlines currently himself after being amongst those laid off by ESPN. The ex-American football star was told of his firing this week midway through a show.

Hokit reacted to that on X and suggested the 46-year-old was ‘cursed’ by preparing negative comments about ‘The Incredible Hok’ for the podcast with White.

“FOFO….Podcast with Dana aired a day after he was fired,” Hokit wrote on X. “Every podcast creates a script of questions days prematurely of the show.

“The mere negative thought towards the Incredible Hok brings a curse. Let this be a lesson. #Hokitcurse”

Clark is way from being the one individual in Hokit’s social media crosshairs.

He’s also taken aim at Ian Machado Garry over his comments about women ruling the world and continued his attacks on fellow UFC heavyweights, including interim champion Ciryl Gane.

The polarizing American has yet to have his next fight confirmed, but he’s been calling out the likes of Gane, Tom Aspinall, and Alex Pereira ever since having his hand raised outside the White House.
