Ian Machado Garry’s brother calls him out ahead of UFC 330 title fight: ‘You’re not a victim’

Ian Machado Garry has seemingly rubbed his brother up the incorrect way together with his recent comments.

On August 15, Ian Machado Garry will finally fight for the welterweight title when he takes on Islam Makhachev within the UFC 330 foremost event.

Ahead of his first UFC title fight, ‘The Future’ has claimed that ‘history is repeating itself’, comparing his fight against Makhachev to Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo back in 2015.

And now, just just a few weeks out from the largest fight of his profession, the Irishman has received backlash from his brother after some comments he recently made.

Machado Garry’s brother calls him out about recent comments

Fans have criticized the 28-year-old because he recently stated that he already has planned who he’ll call out after his fight.

But fans aren’t the one ones criticizing him for comments recently made, as his brother has now called him out for ‘lying’ and playing the victim.

In a recent podcast appearance on High Performance, Machado Garry claimed that the world can be a greater place if it was run by women.

“Ian, you’re not a victim. You act like we were beaten as kids,” an account named Sean Garry commented on the podcast on YouTube.

“We grew up in a middle-class house and had the whole lot we wanted. You’re the variety of guy to take money off his parents and never pay them back. I feel the word is entitled. We had the whole lot a toddler may need.

“Oh no, you bought paid to go to school and your mother was stressed. You bought flown all around the world with boxing, yet you speak about them not supporting you? Dad personally got involved in your boxing the entire time, even when he was sick and in chronic pain. Do me a favour and explain that one, Ian.

“We attended every one in every of your fights, and we all the time believed you might do it. But Layla, who met you whenever you were only just a few fights away from the UFC, is suddenly the one who had faith? No way really you were already there,” he continued within the comments.
