The previous WWE Women’s Champion competed at a WWE live event in Stockton, California on Saturday night, taking up Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria in a Triple Threat match.
Bayley’s previous match got here at WWE Saturday Night’s Essential Event, where she was defeated by Valkyria. Following the bout, Valkyria drove Bayley into the steel ring steps, and on the next episode of RAW, she claimed she had run the previous champion out of WWE.
The post-match attack sparked speculation about Bayley’s status, particularly with reports that her WWE contract is ready to run out later this yr. Many fans believed the angle was designed to put in writing her off television, but her appearance on the Stockton live event indicates she stays lively. Although her Battleground appearance marked her official predominant roster debut, Bayley briefly returned to NXT to complete her run with the brand. Her final NXT match got here against Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II.
