Islam Makhachev has discredited the role that Charles Oliveira shall be playing in Ian Machado Garry’s fight camp.

On August 15, Ian Machado Garry will finally fight for the welterweight title when he takes on Islam Makhachev within the UFC 330 major event.

Ahead of his title fight against the dominant Russian, Machado Garry has claimed that he has the hardest task for any challenger ever.

Despite that, Makhachev’s head coach has potentially offered the Irishman some relief, teasing a surprise no-takedown strategy.

Makhachev discredits Charles Oliveira’s part in Machado Garry’s camp

Ever since he joined the UFC, ‘The Future’ has never fought out of 1 specific gym, and he has at all times attempted to travel round gyms to learn as much as possible.

“Every little thing goes thoroughly, we’ve been staying at the identical gym in Latest Jersey,” Makhachev told MMAFighting regarding his own preparation.

Machado Garry is somewhat hopeful of showcasing his grappling defense and offense against the perfect in the sport.

The 28-year-old recently claimed that he desires to beat Makhachev at his own game and just isn’t searching for a fast finish and is as an alternative hoping to dominate the champion for 4 rounds before ending him.

And the Irishman is receiving surprise backing from former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, who has backed him to develop into the brand new champion.
