Dheeraj Dhoopar’s Wife Vinny Arora Breaks Silence On Lock Upp Chit Row
When asked in regards to the chit incident, what was shown or heard about in Lock Upp, Dheeraj Dhoopar’s wife Vinny Arora clarified, “Aapne suna, aapne dekha nahi. Chits bhi nahi dekhe. And I feel like isse zyada predominant kya hi bolun. I even have said enough. I already clarified on social media ki usmein kya tha aur kya nahi tha. Having said that, mujhe abhi bhi sirf itna hi kehna hai ki I did what I felt was right at that moment—as a wife, as a mom, and as Dheeraj’s partner. Aage bhi mujhe jo apne parivaar ke liye sahi lagega, woh predominant karungi—chahe duniya ko woh sahi lage ya na lage.”
She continued, “Itna kuch ho raha hai show mein. Persons are going below the belt. Persons are saying evil things about one another. And persons are doing all varieties of things. And what I did was simply out of affection and easily for my family. Isliye mujhe isse zyada apne aap ko explain karna theek nahi lagta because I don’t owe anybody any explanation. I only owe an evidence to my husband, and that’s it. And not only within the show, but in life as well—as a mom and a wife, there will likely be tough decisions that I may need to take, which the world may or may not agree with. But that doesn’t mean I won’t do what I consider is true.”
About The Chit Incident In Lock Upp
The Dheeraj Dhoopar chit incident during Lock Upp involved the interception of handwritten notes (“chits”) sent by his family. This violated the show rules. Host Riteish Deshmukh revealed that security had intercepted two hidden notes—one smuggled during a humanitarian visit from Dheeraj’s son Zayn, and one other hidden inside his clothes. Although Dheeraj was unaware of the notes, he received a warning from the makers. He apologised, asking his family to stop sending such messages.
His wife, Vinny Arora Dhoopar, later clarified on Instagram that her actions were an emotional mistake attributable to stress and her son’s illness. She denied that the notes contained strategic advice.
