GLOBE TELECOM, Inc. has partnered with e& Carrier & Wholesale Services (C&WS), the wholesale arm of world technology and telecommunications company e&, to strengthen its international voice services.
“This partnership marks a crucial step in strengthening Globe’s international voice business for the long run,” Globe Chief Business Officer Darius Jose R. Delgado said in a media release on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Globe will deploy artificial intelligence (AI)-driven voice technology to strengthen its international network, improve service reliability, and help protect calls from fraud.
The corporate said Globe’s local market position, combined with e&’s global reach and expertise, will enhance its international direct dialing services.
“We’re enhancing the safety, quality, and reliability of international voice services for our partners and customers. More importantly, we’re constructing a stronger foundation for innovation and long-term collaboration across the worldwide telecommunications ecosystem,” Mr. Delgado said.
The partnership includes the mixing of AI-powered voice firewalls into Globe’s network, enabling real-time traffic monitoring, intelligent fraud detection, and advanced analytics to assist protect international voice traffic.
“By strengthening international voice capabilities across key markets, Globe goals to offer more dependable communication services that help Filipinos stay connected with their families and communities,” the corporate said.
Globe added that the collaboration will provide global carrier partners with a safer and transparent network for handling international voice traffic.
e&, formerly generally known as Etisalat, is a technology and telecommunications company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It operates across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
