WWE’s preparations for SummerSlam 2026 took an unexpected turn overnight after a gaggle of people gained unauthorized access to U.S. Bank Stadium and wandered through restricted areas before considered one of them entered the ring.
Videos circulating on social media show the group contained in the Minneapolis venue at roughly 2:36 AM while crews were still working to finish the setup for this weekend’s two-night pay-per-view event.
The footage captures the group moving through backstage sections of the stadium, including an area that appeared to contain security surveillance monitors. They eventually made their way onto the stadium floor, where the SummerSlam 2026 ring, entrance stage, and production equipment had already been assembled.
One individual might be seen climbing into the ring and standing inside it while the largely empty stadium remained dimly lit throughout the overnight setup.
Presently, it stays unknown how the group entered the stadium, how long they were inside, or whether or not they were eventually confronted by security. Nevertheless, the videos suggest they were capable of access multiple restricted areas.
WWE SummerSlam 2026 is ready to happen on August 1 and August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.
