In keeping with TMZ, Howard’s attorney, Gillian B. Fierer, says the move was intended to assist move things toward a more peaceful, amicable divorce resolution. She added that it’s common for protective orders to be dismissed during divorce proceedings when either side try to maneuver toward a final settlement. Just last week, Howard had secured the restraining order after a judge signed off on it on April 7, with strict terms in place that kept Amy from going near his Georgia mansion, contacting him or his family, or showing up at his children’s school. Now that the order has been dropped, Howard is reportedly asking for privacy as the previous couple works toward closing out their split for good—and fans are definitely watching how this unfolds next.
