Bo Nickal calls Chimaev out for RAF match

Over the past few months, the soaring wrestling promotion has been gaining popularity as they’ve been keeping several UFC stars lively.

Arman Tsarukyan has been an enormous beneficiary of the brand new platform as he has seen himself rise right into a star within the combat sports world by staying lively on the mats.

And now it seems as if ‘Borz’ is hopeful of feeling among the RAF rub, signing a brand new deal to compete on the mats.

After all, Chimaev has a history of competing in Freestyle Wrestling back when he lived in Sweden, and he’s unbeaten across two Swedish National Championships.

Although the 31-year-old’s debut within the promotion just isn’t yet set, he has several suitors already putting their names within the hat to welcome him.

One among which is his former UFC rival, Bo Nickal, who competed on RAF01, beating Jacob Cardenas.

“Khamzat signing with RAF. That could be very exciting. Let’s run it,” Nickal said in a post on X.

Nickal previously missed Chimaev when naming his top three MMA wrestlers of all-time, which appeared to spark a feud.

Not only that, but Nickal claimed that he would ‘ragdoll’ and ‘throw around’ Chimaev predicting a straightforward MMA win over the undefeated Chechen.

Despite the proven fact that the 30-year-old is hopeful of securing a wrestling match against the UFC middleweight champion, a current UFC rule will likely rule that out.

UFC fighters should not allowed to compete against other lively UFC fighters in other promotions.

Nonetheless, RAF are currently attempting to check with the UFC a few workaround to that rule as they are attempting to make a match between Tsarukyan and Colby Covington.
