Teddy Sheringham has predicted which club Marcus Rashford will probably be playing for next season and claims the Manchester United forward ‘didn’t deserve’ his ‘unbelievable’ move to Barcelona.
Rashford sealed a dream move to Barca last summer after United sanctioned a second successive loan for the 28-year-old winger.
Nou Camp bosses have been impressed by Rashford’s impact, with the England international scoring 12 goals and making 13 assists.
Rashford revamped 400 appearances for boyhood club Manchester United but fell out of favour under former manager Ruben Amorim.
After spending the second-half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, Rashford moved to Barcelona in the summertime.
Sheringham says Rashford’s form didn’t warrant a move to the Nou Camp but believes he’ll earn a everlasting transfer to Barca after doing ‘thoroughly’ this season.

Asked if Rashford could return to Old Trafford this summer given the change in manager, Sheringham told BestBettingSites: ‘I don’t think it’s concerning the managers — it’s more about what Marcus desires to do.
‘He’s gone over to Barcelona and, for me, he’s got an unbelievable move — didn’t deserve it — but he’s gone there and adjusted his mentality. It looks like Barcelona need to sign him, so in the event that they do, they probably will.
‘That will make it quite clear he doesn’t want to return back to United, so he’ll probably find yourself getting what he wants.
‘I’ve not seen a lot Spanish football, but when he got here to Newcastle earlier within the season, within the group stage, he set the place alight. He scored a rocket — he got two that night — and had a extremely good impact.

‘He’s done thoroughly there, and in the event that they need to sign him, he’s obviously doing thoroughly for them and their hierarchy, in order that’s probably where he’ll find yourself.’
Rashford’s last Manchester United manager Amorim was sacked in January and Michael Carrick has been answerable for the side since then as caretaker boss.
The Red Devils stagnated under Amorim but have drastically improved under Carrick and have climbed to 3rd within the Premier League table.
Where will Rashford be playing next season?
United are yet to make your mind up if they’ll follow Carrick or look for one more manager however the ex-England midfielder is believed to be fascinated by bringing Rashford back should he be handed the reins on a everlasting basis.
But no matter where he finally ends up next season, Rashford looks set to win his second trophy of the campaign with Barcelona nine points clear of Real Madrid at the highest of the league summit with seven games to go.
Rashford’s first silverware of the season got here courtesy of the Spanish Super Cup, which Barca clinched with a 3-2 win over Real back in January.
