Fans split on Chrisean Rock’s boxing skill after she beat Zenith Zion
After making an eyebrow-raising walkout while her own music was playing, Rock immediately went for the kill contained in the ring.
The pair exchanged some wild, slinging shots, nevertheless it was the rapper who connected with real force first when she sent Zion to the canvas at the tip of round one.
Guest referee Jeff Mayweather made sure the boxing match saw a second round with a clearly long count, but Zion never looked like mounting a comeback.
She did rating a knockdown within the third round, which many deemed to have been a slip, but that was not enough to stop Rock beating Zion on the scorecards.

Social media was stuffed with reactions to the rapper’s successful boxing debut, with many fans praising her performance, which was surprisingly dominant.
“After I saw those jabs within the video I knew she winning.”
“Chrisean Rock didn’t just fight…she made an announcement.”
“She could have gone skilled an extended time ago as an alternative of playing around with that clown Blueface.”
“Literally is perhaps the one one that said she would win. But I had watched her train and he or she looked in great shape and was doing all the best technical things.”
“She may very well be real bad if she commits to it.”
“I knew she was well prepared when she showed some arrogance the opposite day. Congratulations to her.”
“She wasn’t all show. She legit showed workings. She has my respect.”
“She’s found her calling.”
“She should have been performing some underground street (fighting). Look how Chrisean was dropping Zenith even (within the) first round.”
But not everyone was impressed…
While many were calling the bout “rigged,” others were critical of each Rock and Zion’s boxing ability.
“Man, I saw that lady’s sparring video before the fight….trash.”
“In fact she won, the opposite girl was smaller, didn’t look inquisitive about the fight. It was easy money.”
“She looked a large number and so did the opposite girl. Her arm reach was for much longer and the judges, commentators were clearly biased for Chrisean! That was not a boxing match.”
Celebrity boxing continues to be a polarizing a part of the combat sports world.
But after Rock’s victory and fights like Jason Luv’s win over Adam 22 earlier this 12 months, that side of the game doesn’t seem like going anywhere.
