Jake Paul fortunately found the comical side of Olivia Rodrigo’s shot at him during SNL.
After having his jaw broken in multiple places by Anthony Joshua during their controversial fight last December, Jake Paul has needed to have a hiatus from the boxing ring.
The 29-year-old is now a possible move into the world of MMA after calls from Donald Trump for him to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Despite receiving some credit for taking up what was seen as a monumental challenge, ‘The Problem Child’ will proceed to receive criticism for the way in which he has built his boxing profession.

Jake Paul responds after Olivia Rodrigo sends friendly shot at him
This past Saturday during Saturday Night Live, host and popular popstar Olivia Rodrigo sent a shot at Paul for the way in which wherein he has built his boxing profession.
Rodrigo and Paul worked together on Disney Channel show, Bizaardvark, after they were each somewhat bit younger.
“We’d all the time speak about our futures, me and Jake. I’d say, ‘I actually need to create music that explores the complexities of ladies my age.’ And he’d say, ‘Well, in the future I actually need to beat up old guys on Netflix.’ And we each did it. Hurray,” she said.
“We had the vision! I told you that I might sell stadiums out after which we each did. Happy with you for real,” Paul responded to Rodrigo in a post on X.

Fans were all the time critical over Paul’s boxing profession as he was continually drawing former UFC fighters out of retirement to fight him within the boxing ring.
It didn’t help his narrative when he dragged a 58-year-old Mike Tyson out of retirement in 2024 in what was an especially controversial clash on Netflix, which unsurprisingly went on to interrupt viewership records.
That a part of his profession is seemingly over now, though, as he’s unlikely to garner even half of the interest he used to if he goes back to fighting retired fighters.
The 29-year-old is now dipping into his promoter bag as he is ready to advertise one in all the most important MMA shows of the 12 months on May 16, when Ronda Rousey takes on Gina Carano on Netflix, under Most Invaluable Promotions’ banner.
And despite not receiving respect for his fighting within the ring, Paul and MVP deserve respect for his or her constant work in women’s boxing, and now their much needed work on this planet of MMA.
