Beloved reality star Lisa Barlow recently spoke about her former “RHOSLC” co-star, Jen Shah, and shared her view on whether it will be a “good thing” for the TV personality-turned-convicted felon to return to the series. Within the episode, Barlow also discussed whether any of the present forged members have a relationship with Shah, who departed the series after season 3 concluded in February 2023.
On the “Therapuss” podcast with Jake Shane, Barlow said she’s unsure if it will be a “good thing” for Shah to make a “RHOSLC” comeback.
Speaking with the actor and web personality, Barlow added that she wants what’s best for Shah but didn’t say whether being a part of a future season of “RHOSLC” was the very best thing for her.
“I believe that’s necessary [that she’s happy]. I believe she’s really sorry. She did restitution, and he or she’s paying for her mistake,” she said.
Does Anyone From The ‘RHOSLC’ Forged Have A Deep Friendship With Shah?
Regarding the castmates’ relationship with Shah, who was released from prison in December 2025, Barlow said she doesn’t imagine any of them have a very deep relationship along with her.
“I believe she talks to Meredith [Marks] from time to time,” Barlow revealed. “She’ll call Meredith randomly, or Meredith will check in along with her. But I don’t think anyone has a deep friendship along with her.”
For many who could also be unfamiliar, Shah was arrested in March 2021 and charged with several felonies, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. She was sentenced to 78 months in prison in January 2023.
Shah Was Arrested On An Episode Of ‘RHOSLC’
Shah’s arrest was shown within the second season of “RHOSLC.” In response to Barlow, the moment was “wild.”
Along with Barlow, other SLC forged members were present, including Heather Gay and Whitney Rose, who knew something ominous was occurring when the FBI and Homeland Security arrived.
“I remember sitting within the van … Her energy was really off. After which when she got that phone call and was like, ‘I actually have to go away,’ we’re like, ‘OK, what’s happening?’ No person would have ever in one million years felt like Homeland Security, the FBI, NYPD was going to point out up,” Barlow said.
Regardless, Barlow only had positive things to say about her former “RHOSLC” castmate during her interview with Shane.
“I believe that Jen has a whole lot of charisma and he or she’s really funny. And while you get her on an excellent day, she’s probably the most fun person ever,” she said. “She’s crazy, but she’s so funny. She has this charisma about her, and it’s really natural.”
Shah Broke Her Silence About Her Crimes After Her Release From Prison
In April 2026, Shah spoke with PEOPLE in her first interview since being released from federal prison. Reflecting on the fraud scheme that impacted elderly and vulnerable victims, she admitted she was “incorrect” and acknowledged the harm her crimes caused.
“I made incorrect decisions. I must have done things in a different way. I must have been more diligent. And I’m deeply remorseful and sorry for my actions and personally. I take full responsibility,” she added.
Shah said that before going to prison, it was hard for her to actually acknowledge her wrongdoings. It wasn’t until she heard the victim’s statements in court that she began singing a unique tune.
“It was like a train hit,” she said. “That was the primary time I saw all of it — the communications, the interviews, the witnesses.”
Shah went on to say that she then realized “there have been individuals who were hurt.” She added, “That there have been actual victims consequently of this conspiracy. I had never seen anything with my very own eyes. That modified things for me.”

In response to a previous report from The Blast, Shah also responded to Andy Cohen‘s earlier statement that he “never” desired to see the outspoken reality star again.
Shah implied that she wasn’t bothered by his comments, adding, “Andy has a right to his opinion.”
She went on to say, “And without me having the ability to refer to him or without me having the ability to even speak on the time in any respect, people rightly so made their very own judgments and had their very own comments.”
