The Giants signed Jones due to his special teams experience but will reportedly part ways with him after he we injured moving boxes as a part of his move to Recent Jersey, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Recent York can even return Ravenell to waivers two weeks after claiming him from the Titans, who had waived him off their injured reserve, but interestingly, the Giants are designating his injury now as not football-related.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Edwards isn’t expected to stay on the energetic/non-football injury list for very long as he is just coping with a minor muscle strain. Similarly, the Jets expect to have Patrick and Sweat back before long, based on Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
