Madhevere and Marumani Rescue Zimbabwe with Crucial Partnership
Zimbabwe endured a difficult start after being put in to bat by India captain Shreyas Iyer within the opening T20I of the three-match series. India’s young pace attack troubled the hosts with raw pace and disciplined hard lengths, making scoring difficult.
The Zimbabwe batters found it hard to construct momentum and lost wickets at regular intervals while attempting to increase the scoring rate. Mayank Yadav claimed two wickets, while Prince Yadav and Shivam Dube picked up one apiece because the hosts crawled to 46/4 on the halfway stage.
