Jake Paul appears to have found a taker for his $1 million NFL fight offer in the shape of UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit.

Boxing star Paul has been goading the celebrities of the football field in recent weeks, insisting that he’s going to search out a approach to play within the NFL despite being 29 with no experience beyond highschool. He believes that he can play as a slot receiver within the league, but no football player can beat him within the ring.

Hokit, who never actually played a game during his two years within the NFL, did have stints with the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. And he believes after taking the UFC by storm he has the credentials to beat Paul’s challenge and take home the cash.

After making headlines for his wild appearance on The Pivot during which he claimed that he could play within the NFL with relative ease, Jake Paul raised the stakes yet again. He declared that no NFL player could get to his level in boxing throughout the time it might take him to be able to running top level plays.

“Can pay any NFL player $1 million in the event you can box me higher than I run routes against you,” Paul wrote in a tweet that garnered over 1.3 million views in only 4 hours. “Web is judge. Will send my jet to select you up who’s down?”

The message was answered by UFC heavyweight contender Josh Hokit, who has made it to the highest five in the game’s biggest league inside 10 fights and two years. “With all due respect, @jakepaul,” he wrote. “Not only could I beat you in a boxing match, I’d beat you in any sport under the sun.”

Paul looked as if it would just like the callout, replying that he accepted the challenge. “I see your hustle,” he responded. “You do your best to sell. If you ought to fly right down to Puerto Rico and box – anytime I’ll gladly embarrass you.”

Hokit has not yet replied on the time of writing.
