Love Is Blind star Hannah Jiles is clapping back on the accusation that controversial medication Ozempic is accountable for her recent weight reduction.
“Everyone’s saying I’m on Ozempic. I did try Ozempic. Back within the spring, I attempted it for 2 weeks,” Hannah, 27, told People in a Thursday, October 17, interview. “Unfortunately, I feel it’s a tremendous thing, nevertheless it made me so sick I couldn’t take it.”
She added, “Trust me, I’d take it if I could, nevertheless it was just all me.”
Ozempic, Wegovy and other similar semaglutides are commonly prescribed to adults with conditions including hypertension and sort 2 diabetes to assist manage weight. Many celebrities have tried such medications as a technique to slim down quickly, but doctors have warned against its use for casual weight reduction.

Hannah, for her part, opted for traditional ways to slim down once Ozempic failed to offer results.
“I still don’t really like understanding, but I just try to maneuver as much as possible,” the Netflix star told the outlet. “And if I can do Pilates or yoga, that’s the perfect I can do because I’m not going running. It’s just not me.”
Hannah further identified that she also doesn’t “eat quite a bit” of food at meals.

“Not changing what I eat, just how much I ate and just attempting to move more,” she added. “I feel higher inside. And I feel it does really reflect. It’s quite a bit easier to rise up and move and eat healthy whenever you’re not depressed inside. You’re feeling higher about yourself.”
Hannah appeared on season 7 of Love Is Blind, which was filmed in October 2023 and commenced airing earlier this month. Within the pods, she formed connections with Leo Braudy and Nick Dorka. She told them about previous struggles along with her weight and confidence.
“It’s just an element of my journey and once I’m talking about weight reduction, it’s my biggest insecurity, so it’s something that’s necessary to me,” Hannah exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “And talking about it, I don’t think, disclosed how I look because they don’t know if I’m 300 kilos and I lost that weight or if I’m 120 and I lost the burden. They will judge or they will try to determine what I weigh, but I’m confident in myself and I just wanna let you realize ’cause that’s who I’m and it’s a part of me.”
Hannah ultimately got engaged to Nick, 28, sight unseen but they called it quits once they returned to their normal lives. Hannah had questioned Nick’s readiness for marriage and his maturity.
